Bringing the Splendour

Today, Antigua Carnival 2014 -- with the theme Bringing the Splendour -- will be launched with the Scotiabank Opening Parade through the streets of St. John's.    This will be followed by the LIME Junior Carnival and State Insurance Junior Calypso Monarch show on Sunday, and the Queen of Carnival Show on Monday.   On Tuesday, the Source Teen Splash will draw crowds to Carnival City, and on Wednesday it will be the LIAT Caribbean Melting Pot entertaining people.   The Antigua Commercial Bank Panorama, the highlight of Carnival for many, brings the steel bands to the stage on Thursday .  On Friday, attention turns once again to pagentry and glamour as the 13 de... {Read More}
